Project Description

Land Science was engaged by a national installer of electric car charging stations to provide a full service scope of surveys including topographical surveys, GPR and CCTV investigations, and ground investigation. The works were carried out in a public space, including an existing car park and area of green space adjacent. Ground conditions were Radstock and Farrington Members (mudstone, siltstone and sandstone). Land Science acted as Principal Contractor, conducted desk studies and searches, drilled dynamic sampler boreholes, excavated trial pits for BRE365 soakage testing, wenner resistivity testing, return ground gas monitoring, contamination and waste classification testing, geotechnical testing, and a full interpretive GIR report.
