Skate Park, Somerset
Project Description
Land Science was commissioned to undertake soils investigation for a new skate park. These are large concrete structures which – like all structures – require appropriate foundations. The work was carried out in the public realm, on the site of an existing park, which was to be replaced. Ground conditions comprised Blue Lias Formation. The scope of work included a desk study, contamination testing, geotechnical testing, waste classification.
